Trauma Informed Yoga for Healing
in Missouri & Utah

Your body speaks to you. Trauma Conscious Yoga can help you listen.
Do you have tense shoulders or clench your jaw?
Restless legs with no medical reason?
Sweaty palms or clenched fists in tough moments?
Stress-clean, pace around, or feel like your brain won’t slow down?
Maybe you feel completely drained—unable to get off the couch or get started. Eating, sleeping, and social activities feel off and aren’t as enjoyable.
Your body is sending a message. Stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, and burnout aren’t just in your mind—they’re stored in your body and your nervous system.
Let’s listen to what it’s saying and start your healing journey.
Your body holds the truth—and the power to heal.
While your brain and nervous system may be conditioned to sense danger and focus on survival, your body carries an innate wisdom waiting to be unlocked.
Let’s tap into that wisdom together, discover the ROOT of your pain and stuck points.
Create space to feel what you’ve been avoiding, stuffing down, or putting on the back burner—all in the name of protection and survival.
Move through and release pain and stored energy to reclaim your calm, vitality, and sense of embodiment.
Step into empowerment and rediscover the strength within you.
Somatic & Trauma-Conscious Yoga Therapy for Women
For women in Missouri and St. Louis seeking to heal their pain, trauma, and anxiety at its roots, this isn’t a 60-minute yoga class.
In our sessions, you’ll bring what’s weighing on your heart to discuss while integrating gentle, body-based movements to deepen your healing journey.
Bring your yoga mat, blocks, blankets, essential oils, and comfortable clothing if you’d like—but the real focus is on using trauma-conscious yoga to unlock your body’s innate ability to heal and process pain at its source.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, this approach delves deeper, addressing how trauma is stored in your body. Through tailored breathwork, meditation, and movement, we’ll work together to release the root causes of pain and create a transformative shift in how you heal.
For instance, if past trauma has caused a protective posture—like hunching over during stress—we might begin with nurturing poses such as Cat Pose or hugging your knees to your chest. Once your body feels safe, we’ll progress to chest- and shoulder-opening movements to release stored tension and rebuild strength and empowerment.
As you connect with your body in this new way, you’ll notice shifts—both physically and emotionally. This work not only relieves the impact of trauma but also builds your capacity to hold space for others and, most importantly, for yourself.
If you’re ready to uncover the roots of your pain and move toward true healing, let’s begin this journey together.
